  • Subsequently sold it with benefit of Outline Planning Permission for 90 residential flats and 115 on-site parking spaces.​
  • Site purchased by Mayflower Developments, who enhanced planning further and built 96 New England style apartments.​


This three-acre open grassland site was in a mixed industrial and residential area and had a number of owners, including The Crown. This made achieving planning permission both complex and time-consuming. Since it was only two miles from the main shopping centre of Hanley, we built a solid case that the site would be best used for residential purposes. After a planning process lasting five years and involving protracted negotiations with the various owners, we were granted outline permission.
